2021 Triennial Code Adoption Cycle
Schedule Change Announcement
On December 14, 2021 the California Building Standards Commission (CBSC) heard and took action on agenda items 1 through 12c. The agenda items were heard and completed sooner than expected. As a result, no items were heard on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 due to a request for accommodation for public comment and a related motion approved by the CBSC to continue agenda item 13. Agenda items 13 a – c were heard at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2021.

These proposals are intended for inclusion in the 2022 California Building Standards Code (California Code of Regulations., Title 24), which is scheduled for publication on or before July 1, 2022, with an effective date of January 1, 2023.
