DSA PSCC Member, Julie Arthur
As a member of the PSCC, Julie serves as a School District Facility Development Representative.
Julie Arthur has been the Palm Springs Unified School District Executive Director of Facilities and Planning since July 2008 and provides oversight of their $516 million dollar School Construction Bond Program. She has worked in K–12 public school construction since 1996. Julie has a Masters of Public Administration from California Baptist University and currently serves on the Coalition for Adequate School Housing (CASH) Board of Directors as the Chair. As the current Chair of CASH, Julie provides leadership in the school facilities field at the state and federal levels to ensure that all districts have access to state funding for school construction needs.
Julie is dedicated to supporting student learning with 21st century facilities that are clean, safe, and functional and is particularly passionate about innovative classroom spaces for students.
