DSA PSCC Member, Devin Conway
As a member of the PSCC, Devin serves as a Civil Engineer Representative.
Devin Conway is a principal and co-founder of Verde Design, bringing with him over 25 years of professional experience in public works and education design and construction. A civil engineering graduate of Santa Clara University, Devin has lived and worked in the Bay Area for the past three decades. He has been instrumental in growing and guiding one of the area’s most recognized and respected outdoor design firms.
Using his technical skills and talent as a civil engineer – and his life-long love of outdoor sports – he provides practical approaches to recreation and athletic facility design. He is one of the leaders in outdoor athletic facility design, and has worked on projects ranging from elementary schools to professional competition stadiums.
Devin has been working on public schools and community college campuses for over 20 years. As a lead design professional on projects that have gone through the DSA approval and certification processes countless times, he has worked with all four of DSA’s regional offices. Devin carries a broad range of project experiences. He is also a certified stormwater professional and has extensive stormwater management experience in specialized project integration.
Verde Design is a multi-disciplinary outdoor design firm providing professional civil engineering and landscape architecture to public and private clientele. Verde’s primary market sector is the K–14 education market, making up over half of its projects. With four offices throughout the state and focused solely on projects in California, Verde Design is one of the leaders in outdoor design for public schools and colleges in the state. Founded in 2007 after an internal amicable split from another (now-defunct) design firm, Verde Design has consistently sought to forge its own unique path in focusing on outdoor spaces where the children and community at large live, play, and recreate.
