Divisions & Offices

As part of the Interagency Support Division, oversees development, adoption, approval, publication and implementation of California’s building codes in Title 24 of the California Code of Regulations.

As part of the Interagency Support Division, CCDA promotes disability access across California through education, dialogue, and collaboration with stakeholders including the disability and business communities, and all levels of government.

Provides building management and administration, operations, maintenance, and repair services to support the state's real estate assets.

Hears administrative disputes through general jurisdiction and special education divisions.

As part of the Executive Office, provides an independent, objective assurance and consulting function designed to add value and improve DGS operations.

As part of the Administration Division, provides support and consultation within DGS for the procurement of goods and services while advocating for small businesses and disabled veteran business enterprise suppliers.

As part of the Interagency Support Division, oversees the state vehicle fleet, leases vehicles to state agencies and departments, manages parking facilities statewide, and auctions surplus property and state mobile equipment.

As part of the Administration Division, provides services in the areas of recruitment, hiring, benefits and pay transactions, employee training and development, and constructive intervention.

As part of the Interagency Support Division, administers the state voter-approved school facilities construction bond program and is staff to the State Allocation Board.

As part of the Administration Division, provides risk management and insurance services to state agencies and other public entities.

As part of the Interagency Support Division, offers complete printing services for state agencies, plus an array of storage, mailing, and strategic marketing solutions. Also performs ADA remediation to ensure compliance with state and federal standards.

As part of the Executive Office, provides sustainability-related services for all state agencies, including policy development, energy saving retrofits, clean energy generation projects, and electric vehicle infrastructure.  

The Procurement Division provides innovative purchasing methods that save taxpayers' dollars, integrating quality solutions to meet customers' needs. 

Provides a wide array of real estate services to state agencies, including management of state-owned and leased facilities.
