Photo of Fred Diamond Fred Diamond is the Director of Facilities and Construction for Citrus Community College District and has been in the educational facilities industry for over 25 years, both at the community college and K–12 level. Additionally, Fred has been in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry for over 30 years. Prior to joining education, Fred worked in several capacities in the architectural services industry. Having a broad educational background including architecture, engineering, and business administration, including dual MBA’s in Executive Management and Marketing, supports Fred’s continued commitment to a career of bettering educational facilities and leadership. Fred holds certifications through the Construction Specifications Institute and the Northwest Energy Efficiency Council. Fred serves on the Inland Empire Construction Specifications Institute Board of Directors and also serves in various capacities for California’s Coalition for Adequate School Housing, including serving as one of the Core Instructors for the CMMCP. At the community college level, Mr. Diamond serves on the CCFC Board of Directors, on the management team for the California Community College’s Investor Owned Utility Partnership and also serves on the ACBO Facilities Task Force for the California Community College Chancellor’s Office. Fred is a frequent speaker to facilities and construction professionals and believes that empowering our future leaders with knowledge of the industry helps ensure continued success for California’s educational system. In his spare time, Fred enjoys designing and building furniture, playing golf, barbecuing, and spending time with his family.
