Ben Conway (he/him), Los Angeles County, is a Deputy Attorney General with the California Department of Justice, Civil Rights Enforcement Section. The Section conducts civil rights investigations and prosecutes civil actions on behalf of the Attorney General to enforce civil rights statutes, including disability rights laws.

Commissioner Conway previously worked for sixteen years in various non-profit law firms in Los Angeles addressing the rights of people with disabilities including special education, regional center services, and accessibility under Titles II and III of the Americans with Disabilities Act. He has bipolar disorder and self-identifies as a person with a disability.

He is the proud parent of two young children. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and his Juris Doctorate at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. Ben is the Attorney General’s representative on the Commission.
