Veronica Scribner portrait

Veronica Scribner joined the CBSC team in July 2026. She began her career with the State of California in 2008 as an Office Technician with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR). Throughout her state service, Veronica has held progressively more responsible positions, including Office Services Supervisor II with CDCR, Staff Services Analyst with the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), and Analyst II with Caltrans. Her diverse experience spans budget management, human resources, procurement, property control, and administrative operations.

As an Analyst II, Veronica managed the Design Office budget, oversaw financial analysis and forecasting, supported personnel transactions, and served as a liaison between program staff and accounting to ensure fiscal accountability and operational efficiency. She also coordinated employee training, monitored compliance requirements, and developed solutions that improved business processes and supported organizational goals.

Born in Los Angeles and raised in Fresno, Veronica made the move to Sacramento in July 2026 to start an exciting new chapter with her fiancé. She’s a proud mom to her daughter, who keeps life full of laughter, adventure, and unforgettable moments. When she’s not at work, you’ll likely find Veronica planning her next trip, hunting down the best local restaurants, or diving into a new DIY craft project. She’s also a devoted sports fan who proudly cheers on the Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Manchester City—win or lose!
