Kristina Severon

Kristina Severon joined the California Building Standards Commission as an Analyst II in September 2025. She serves as the commission’s legislation analyst and web content author, supporting CBSC’s legislative and budgetary work while overseeing both the public website and intranet to ensure accessibility and compliance with ADA and web content guidelines.

In her legislative role, Kristina reviews bills that may impact CBSC, evaluates potential operational and regulatory implications, and provides updates and recommendations to management. She also assists in developing and monitoring budget change concepts and proposals arising from proposed or enacted legislation, analyzing fiscal data and cost studies to support accurate and sustainable financial planning.
