Pamela Maeda portrait

Pamela joined the California Building Standards Commission (CBSC) as an Office Technician in May of 2014. In July of 2017, she was promoted to Staff Services Analyst and supports the Executive Director and Deputy Director here at CBSC.  She has a wealth of private sector experience and worked for sixteen years with Hewlett-Packard in Roseville, California where she held a variety of administrative positions.

 

During her tenure with Hewlett-Packard, Pamela participated in the development of internal policy and procedure manuals, employee mentoring and training, and was responsible for facilitating employee meetings and events. As a Collections Specialist she assisted customers with reconciliation of past due invoices and established innovative methods to streamline processes.  Pamela participated in customer site visits for clients such as Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan and the County of Sacramento Municipal Service Agency.

 

An enthusiastic volunteer in her community, Pamela has served in many leadership roles, as president, secretary and a boundary committee member in parent organizations at Oakmont High School, Roseville Joint Union High School District, and Warren T. Eich Intermediate and Crestmont Elementary in Roseville, CA. She currently volunteers for the Northern California MS Society and Weaster’s Warriors.

 

Pamela was born and raised in Santa Clara, CA and moved to Sacramento in 1982.  She has two adult children, daughter Stephanie and son Kyle.  She loves helping others and volunteering at different events.
