The project is located on approximately 2.89 acres, former Department of State Hospitals site that is no longer needed, located at the southeast corner of El Camino Real and San Rafael Rd in the City of Atascadero, County of San Luis Obispo.
Project Milestones
The site will be developed by: People’s Self-Help Housing Corporation, a nonprofit public benefit corporation.
The site will facilitate the construction of 88 multifamily homes, ranging from 1 bedroom to 3 bedrooms, with 1 unit for an onsite Manager, along with common room facilities and outdoor amenities.
The income restrictions of the units are:
- 44 Units at 30 % Average Median Income
- 4 Units at 35% Average Median Income
- 19 Units at 50% Average Median Income
- 6 Units at 60% Average Median Income
