CCDA and Pacific ADA Center Webinar Collaboration Series 2024

The collaboration webinar series by CCDA and Pacific ADA Center focuses on understanding the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The 2024 ADA Business Webinar Series will be held as a lunch & learn series from 12:00 – 1:00 PM on the dates to follow. The webinar collaboration series offers information for businesses to enhance ADA compliance in employment practices and public accommodations.
The upcoming May 30th session, “ADA Opportunities for Small Businesses,” will discuss the intersection of Title I and III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). There will be information on how to effectively accommodate employees with disabilities, including distinguishing between service animals and emotional support animals. The overlap between Title I: Employment and Title III: Public Accommodation within the ADA will be discussed.
July 18th webinar will focus on, "ADA in Today’s World," discussing recent ADA rulings and events, with an early celebration for the ADA Anniversary on July 26th. September 5th will plan to cover customer service, focusing on accessibility for customers with disabilities during the busy holiday season.
Accessibility features such as ASL interpretation, default captioning, and language access will be provided, with additional accommodations available upon request within 72 hours of each webinar.
