Summary:

Project comprises labor, material and services necessary for: Removal of hazardous materials from work area, removal and replacement of existing roof systems including the low-slope built-up roof system and the steep-sloped asphalt shingle system, removal and replacement of existing internal metal gutters and downspouts, removal and replacement of existing wood fascia, repair substrate, flash existing pipe and conduit penetrations.

Successful bidder shall furnish payment and performance bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price.

Pre-Bid Conference:

Prospective bidders must attend the mandatory pre bid site inspection tour on June 9, 2021, at 10:30 A.M., at which time representatives of the state and prospective bidders shall meet at California School for the Deaf, Fremont, Administration Building #27, 39350 Gallaudet Drive, Fremont, CA 94538. The State's requirements for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation and other Contract requirements will be presented. Prime Contractors are encouraged to have their Key Administrator and DVBE office coordinator attend to receive this information and to have their questions answered.

Attendance for the entire inspection is required for bidders to be eligible to submit a bid.
