Summary:
Scope of Work: Major components of Project Work consist of: Minor demolition and relocation of existing utilities, paving and landscaping. Addition of a new supplemental boiler adjacent to an existing boiler house. New construction includes providing a new pre-fabricated metal building, a 1-1000 HP steam boiler, an SCR urea to ammonia emissions package, piping and paving. Abatement of existing minor asbestos and lead based paint is also included.
Pre-Bid Conference:
Pre-bid Site Inspection: Bids will only be accepted from those Contractors having attended the MANDATORY pre-bid site inspection tour on April 14, 2020, at 9:30 A.M., at which time representatives of the State and prospective bidders shall meet at Deuel Vocational Institution Main Entry Security Office, located at 23500 Kasson Road, Tracy CA. 95376.
Security Clearance: Bidders: attention is directed to the deadline to contact Bob Boben, Project Director, at (916) 376-1636 no later than 4:00 P.M., March 31, 2020 and provide (1) full name, (2) telephone number, (3) Social Security Number, (4) Identification Number or California Driver's License Number and expiration year, and (5) date of birth; for security clearance to enter Institution. Blue, black, or acid washed denim trousers, camouflage clothing, red or orange jumpsuits, and blue or black chambray shirts, cameras and recording devices will not be allowed.
