Summary:
The project consists of the removal of an existing walk-in refrigerator and the installation of an exterior walk-in Refrigerator/freezer on a pad in a new fenced enclosure. Project also includes remodel of the area where the walk-in refrigerator had been removed. Installation of fire sprinklers inside the new walk-in refrigerator and where the removed refrigerator had been shall be a part of this project.
Refer to Document 00 22 00, Supplementary Instructions to Bidders, Subparagraph 2.1.3, regarding performance of work of a Fire Protection specialty contractor license classification C-16
Pre-Bid Conference:
Prospective bidders must attend the mandatory pre bid site inspection tour on February 3, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., at which time representatives of the State and prospective bidders shall meet outside 39350 GALLAUDET DR., ADMINISTRATION BUILDING, FREMONT, ALAMEDA, CA The State's requirements for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation and other Contract requirements will be presented. Prime Contractors are encouraged to have their Key Administrator and DVBE office coordinator attend to receive this information and to have their questions answered. Attendance for the entire inspection is required in order for bidders to be eligible to submit a bid.
