Summary:
SEALED BIDS: The Office of Business and Acquisition Services will receive Sealed Bids at 707 Third Street, West Sacramento, California 95605 before 2:00 P.M., August 19, 2021. Hand delivered bids shall be placed in the DGS/OBAS Bid/Proposal Drop Box located in the lobby.
Project comprises labor, material and services necessary for: Renovation of the existing underground Steam Distribution System. Including replacement of steam piping, excavation, trenching, vaults, expansion joints, steam traps, traffic controls, temporary utilities, installation of chilled water pump, sump pump, distributed boiler, misc. valves and tanks and associated electrical equipment and controls. Includes new parking lot and landscaping. Demolition will include hazardous materials, old equipment, gaskets, piping, pipe hangers, insulation, black lid felt, landscaping, trees, and miscellaneous items.
Successful bidder shall furnish payment and performance bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price.
Pre-Bid Conference:
Prospective bidders must attend the mandatory pre bid site inspection tour on August 5, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., at Member Services Building (Lee Lounge) at Veterans Home of California located at 260 California Dr. Yountville, CA 94599. Bidders are required to sign in upon arrival and sign out at the conclusion of the pre-bid site inspection.
Attendance for the entire inspection is required in order for bidders to be eligible to submit a bid.
