Using Adobe When Completing Forms
Saving, Completing, and Printing PDF Documents
There are many different forms available on this website, all of which are created using Adobe software. To complete these forms you will need to either print a copy and complete that paper copy or download the form to your computer’s desktop using the free application called Adobe Acrobat Reader. You will need to download this free application to your desktop to complete the forms without printing.
To download Adobe Acrobat Reader, either copy and paste the following URL or click on the link: https://get.adobe.com/reader/ and follow the instructions.
You will not be able to complete these forms without either downloading the form or printing the form.
You also will not be able to complete these forms using a mobile phone.
If you attempt to fill out a form in your browser (i.e. Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Safari, etc.), anything you fill out will not save, and the interactive features may not work.
Print or Download and Save Forms Before You Use Them – Don’t Use the Browser
To save the forms you can either:
- Right-click the form to download and save it; or,
- If you’ve opened the form in your browser, find the download or print icon at the top of the browser window.
Open Your Form in a PDF Reader
Once you have downloaded the form, open it in the latest version of PDF reader. (See Adobe’s website for further information on using Adobe’s PDF Reader by copying and pasting into your browser the following URL or by clicking the link: https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/pdf-reader.html?msockid=0c5b4b6d95e4638e231b5
Save What you Filled Out
Save your completed file using Adobe Acrobat so you can access your form later. Saving your form does not file your form with OAH. If you need to file your form with OAH, follow the instructions on the OAH form for filing through the Secure e-File Transfer System (SFT). You can also find this information at OAH’s “File or Upload OAH Case Documents” website page by copying and pasting into your browser the following URL or by clicking on the link: https://www.dgs.ca.gov/OAH/Services/Page-Content/Office-of-Administrative-Hearings-Services-List-Folder/File-or-Upload-OAH-Case-Documents
