October 2026 Webinar: Observed Accessibility Trends in Orange County (2019-2025)

Join the California Commission on Disability Access (CCDA) for the final webinar of the 2026 series as we explore accessibility trends observed in Orange County from 2019–2025. 

The data highlights two key trends: Path of Travel—Exterior and Parking, which has consistently been among the most common violation categories, and Toilet, Lavatory, and Bathing Facilities, which has seen a notable increase beginning in 2023 and a significant spike since 2024. 

This session will take a closer look at commonly reported access barriers, including accessible routes from parking to building entrances, accessible parking spaces and access aisles, and restroom accessibility. These trends were observed across a wide range of businesses, including grocery stores, clothing stores, hardware stores, and shopping centers, from small family-owned establishments to large national chains. 

The session will share observed data trends as an informational resource and provide information to help frame discussion. This session is educational in nature and does not constitute legal advice or enforcement action. Accessibility features such as ASL interpretation, captioning, and language access will be provided, with additional accommodations available upon request within 10 days of each webinar.
