July 26th marks the 35th anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in 1990.

July 26th marks the 35th anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in 1990. This monumental civil rights law laid the foundation for preventing and prohibiting discrimination against individuals with disabilities. CCDA is proud to promote disability access in California through dialogue and collaboration with stakeholders, including the disability and business communities and all levels or government, particularly through our work related to Title III of the ADA, which governs accessibility in places of public accommodation.
