Allison Pease
Deputy Director and Chief Counsel
Allison Pease was appointed Deputy Director and Chief Counsel on May 29, 2026. Prior to joining DGS, she served in several legal and executive positions at Covered California beginning in 2014, including Assistant General Counsel and Director of the Office of Legal Affairs, Assistant Chief Counsel and Deputy Director, Acting Equal Employment Opportunity Officer, and attorney. Allison earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Critical Theory and Social Justice from Occidental College.
