Summary:
Major components of Project Work consist of room demolition, dry rot repairs to substrate including possible structural members, electrical raceways, wiring, lifting and reinstalling roof mounted mechanical and exhaust fans, installing gutters and downspouts, mitigating lead paint, asbestos and mold, and related work.
Pre-Bid Conference:
Prospective bidders must attend the mandatory pre bid site inspection tour on April 21, 2021 at 9:30 A.M., Facilities Operations Building, located at 3102 Highland Avenue, Patton, CA 92369. The States requirements for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation will be presented along with other contract requirements. Bidders are required to sign in upon arrival and sign out at the conclusion of the pre-bid site inspection. Attendees are asked NOT to wear khaki colored clothing to the site inspection. Attendance for the entire inspection is required in order for bidders to be eligible to submit a bid.
Successful bidder shall furnish payment and performance bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price.
