Summary:
Provide construction to build out the South-East corner of the San Diego buildings second floor including electrical, mechanical, plumbing and fire alarm. Americas with Disabilities (ADA) modifications on the first and second floor restrooms, drinking fountains, elevators and lockers; exterior sidewalk and parking improvements are required. In addition, the contractor will be responsible to purchase and install audio visual equipment and furniture. The contractor will be required to work some tasks after hours and/or weekend time to allow work to be performed while FTB work is being performed; avoiding noise and disturbance.
Pre-Bid Conference:
Prospective bidders must attend the mandatory pre bid site inspection tour on September 30,2020 at 10:00 A.M, at which time representatives of the State and prospective bidders shall meet at 9646 Butterfield Way, Sacramento, CA: Use the Mayhew entrance off of Folsom for closest parking lot to the San Diego Building. The States requirements for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation will be presented along with other contract requirements. Bidders are required to be in attendance for the entirety of the pre-bid site inspection and sign out at the conclusion.
Successful bidder shall furnish payment and performance bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price.
Security Clearance: Bidders attention is directed to the deadline to contact Leia Riley, Project Director, at (916) 376-1785 no later than 4:00 P.M., September 21, 2020, and provide Pre-Register information for the Mandatory Bid Walk: (1) full name, (2) telephone number; once on site each pre-registered person will present their California Driver's License and have their picture taken. The contractor awarded the project and their subcontractors and vendors will be required to provide (3) Social Security Number, (4) be fingerprinted, (5) Show compliance with current tax reporting and payment for a full background check.
