Materials Testing and Inspection Services (MT&IS) Retainer CR 19-35301
Summary:
The Department of General Services (State or DGS) provides comprehensive real estate services to all State agencies, including the construction of new facilities and renovation and repair of existing facilities throughout the State of California. DGS has the responsibility of assuring that material testing and inspection services (MT&IS) are provided on such projects.
It is the intent of the State to solicit competitive bids for the work described herein to provide the State of California with MT&IS for construction projects. The State intends to award up to four (4) contracts from this solicitation, one per each region. Bidders may submit bids for one or more regions. Bidders may be awarded one (1) or up to four (4) contracts.
Pre-Bid Conference:
Prospective bidders must attend the mandatory pre bid site inspection tour on May 22, 2020 at 10:00 A.M., at 707 3rd Street, Room 2-430, West Sacramento and/or Microsoft Teams (see comments)
