Summary:
Project comprises labor, material and services necessary for: Major components of Project Work consist of: Demolition, hazardous material abatement, excavation, manholes, fencing, cast in place concrete, metal fabrications, pipe railings, bar gratings, fire stopping, joint sealants, hollow metal doors and frames, painting, high performance coatings, toilet bath and laundry accessories, valves, hangers and supports, vibration and seismic controls, plumbing equipment and pipe insulation, steam, condensate, water, waste and vent piping, fuel and gas piping, meters and gauges, water treatment, pumps, deaerators, boiler equipment, exhaust and chimney systems, steam traps and equipment, low voltage electrical conductors and cabling, electrical raceway, wiring, cable, and related work.
Pre-Bid Conference:
Prospective bidders must attend the mandatory pre bid site inspection tour on August 19, 2020, at Porterville Developmental Center, Plant Operations Building, located at 320 Palm Way, Porterville, CA 93258. Inspection tour will begin at 9:30 A.M. The States requirements for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation will be presented along with other contract requirements. Bidders are required to be in attendance for the entirety of the pre-bid site inspection and sign out at the conclusion.
Successful bidder shall furnish payment and performance bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price.
