Attend this free online workshop to get Small Business (SB) or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) certified. Receive step-by-step instructions for the certification application. Get help uploading documents and completing the application process.

Have digital copies of the necessary items listed below. 

• General documents:
  • EIN verification letter (if applicable)
  • Federal tax returns for the last three years (or for the period your business has been operational)
    • For a sole proprietorship, personal tax returns for up to three years.
  • DE 9C records for the last four quarters (if you have W2 employees).
  • Applicable licenses (e.g., Business License, CSLB License, Resellers Permit)
  • Award of Entitlement, eBenefits Service/Benefit Verification, or Retired/Retainer letter (DVBE only)
• Legal entity documents:
  • Small Business Document Requirements
  • DVBE Document Requirements
