Certification Workshop for Small Businesses
An in-person event to apply for California’s SB and DVBE certifications
Have digital copies of the necessary items listed below.
- General documents:
- EIN verification letter (if applicable)
- Federal tax returns for the last three years (or for the period your business has been operational)
- For a sole proprietorship, personal tax returns for up to three years.
- DE 9C records for the last four quarters (if you have W2 employees).
- Applicable licenses (e.g., Business License, CSLB License, Resellers Permit)
- Award of Entitlement, eBenefits Service/Benefit Verification, or Retired/Retainer letter (DVBE only)
- Legal entity documents:
