General Jurisdiction Division- Office of Administrative Hearings Advisory Committee Meeting Information

The OAH Advisory Committee was created by Welfare and Institutions Code section 4717. It is responsible for providing non-binding recommendations about mediation and hearing operations under the Lanterman Act for people with developmental disabilities in California. The Committee is required to meet at least two times a year.

February 12, 2026 Meeting Information

Meeting Location

On September 22, 2023, the Governor signed SB 544.  SB 544 allows the Committee to continue to hold teleconference meetings on and after January 1, 2024, with a physical location for any Committee members and the public to attend the teleconference meeting in person if they want to attend in person instead of at a remote location.

Public Comment

Public comment can be provided verbally, in person, via videoconference, or in writing during the Advisory Committee Meeting.  Members of the public attending by videoconference, please review the information below on how to participate in a Zoom Webinar, including how to provide verbal comment.  To provide public comment in writing, please send an email to OAHACcomments@dgs.ca.gov during the meeting.  (This email will not be monitored until the day of the meeting. Public comments sent to this email may only be sent during the Advisory Committee Meeting. Any comments sent before or after the meeting will not be considered public comment or acknowledged).

Request a Reasonable Accommodation for Disability or an Interpreter Other than Spanish or ASL

We will do our best to meet all timely requests, though contractors may not always be available.
