DSA Structural Safety Public Stakeholder Meeting - 2025 Intervening Code Cycle

The Division of the State Architect – Structural Safety (DSA-SS) is holding a public stakeholder meeting on Thursday, Oct 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. to discuss proposed amendments to:

  • Part 1 – California Administrative Code (CAC),

  • Part 2 – California Building Code (CBC), and

  • Part 10 – California Existing Building Code (CEBC)

of the 2025 California Building Standards Code (Title 24) for the 2025 Intervening Code Adoption Cycle.

Proposed changes will be submitted to the California Building Standards Commission in December 2025 for adoption in July or August of 2026. Changes adopted by the Commission will be included in the 2025 Title 24 Supplement that will be in effect July 1, 2027, (exception: the 2025 CAC Supplement will be in effect August or September 2026). The public meeting will be virtual using the MS Teams meeting platform, including call-in participation via phone.
