DSA has issued Bulletin (BU) 26-02: Application of Fire and Life Safety Provisions of the 2025 California Existing Building Code: Effective January 1, 2026 which may be found on the DSA Publications webpage.

BU 26-02 clarifies the applicable fire and life safety requirements of the 2025 California Existing Building Code (CEBC), effective January 1, 2026, for repairs, alterations, changes of occupancy, and additions to existing buildings or structures on public school (K-12) and community college campuses throughout the State of California.
