The Division of the State Architect (DSA) recognizes the tremendous strain put on school districts during this time and is committed to partnering with each school district.

DSA announces the creation of BU 20-01: DSA Assistance During the COVID -19 Pandemic for Emergency Facilities. DSA has determined that the COVID-19 pandemic constitutes an unanticipated emergency and will make every effort to expedite plan review of emergency projects needed for schools to reopen safely.

BU 20-01 provides guidance for school districts to expedite installation of new buildings, structures and sanitation facilities and/or alteration of existing facilities resulting from COVID-19.
