Project Inspector Training Requirement Update

New training requirements for PIs.

The DSA has updated the California Energy Code (CEC) acceptance testing training requirements for Project Inspectors. The list of accepted courses that meet the training requirements has been expanded and can be found on the DSA Project Inspector Certification webpage.  

PIs must complete the training prior to being approved for inspection services for projects requiring CEC acceptance testing in accordance with the 2025 California Administrative Code, Section 4-363.3(d). 

The DSA Project Inspector Certification webpage describes how to access the NEMI website and the required training course. For questions regarding NEMI’s T24MA training course, please contact them directly through the resources available on the NEMI website.
