The Division of the State Architect (DSA) and the California Building Standards Commission (CBSC)  are planning to hold a virtual public meeting of the full CALGreen Carbon Reduction Collaborative (CCRC) on July 16, 2026. Details will be sent in a later notice.

Purpose

Education and outreach for embodied carbon regulations in the California Green Building Standards Code (CALGreen) continues to be a priority for DSA and CBSC. During this meeting, we would like to reengage with members of the CCRC, as well as meet with new interested parties and review proposed language for the 2027 Rulemaking Code Cycle.

Action

Help us prepare for this meeting. Forward any comments, questions, or suggestions related to the CCRC to CBSC@dgs.ca.gov by June 26, 2026. Please put “CCRC Meeting” in the subject line of your email.
