Q: |
I received an email from an email address I don’t recognize and I wanted to check if this was real? |
|
A: |
If you
receive an email from an unfamiliar sender and are unsure whether it’s
legitimate, please reach out to the OSDS Certification team directly so they
can verify the validity of the message. You can contact them at certification@dgs.ca.gov. They
will confirm whether the communication is official and advise you on any next
steps. |
|
Q: |
Do you have any visualization tools that show firms in disadvantaged communities? |
|
A: |
Yes. The California SB/DVBE Atlas Tool (CalSAT) is a visual, interactive tool that maps certified SB and DVBE firm locations using Geographic Information System (GIS) data. It also overlays state procurement information—such as SB/DVBE dollars spent—onto a California map highlighting disadvantaged communities. For more information, visit the CalSAT webpage. |
