Katrina Benny was promoted to Staff Services Manager with CBSC in June of 2009. In addition to overseeing the commission’s administrative staff, Katrina is responsible for a wide range of duties in the areas of: budgeting, human resources, and the statewide education and outreach program.
Prior to joining CBSC, Katrina was the marketing coordinator for the Department of General Services, Division of the State Architect’s Training Academy, where she honed her keen organizational skills, business and budgeting acumen. Her first position with the state was with the Office of State Publishing in 2000, where she was a Printing Plant Operations Planner where her graphics and print experience was utilized.
In the private sector, she held multiple positions in the printing arena, including marketing artist for the Golden One Credit Union and Project Manager for Foundation Health.
Katrina is a Sacramento native, mother of three adult children, Lauryn, Kyle and Conner and resides in Lincoln, with her husband Dave. She is very active in her love of paper crafting, family activities, and caring for the extended four-legged family, two dogs and four cats.
