ELECTRONIC SIGNATURES - 8083

An electronic signature (e-signature) has the same force and effect as the use of a manual signature. Departments may use e-signatures for check signing when the department determines it to be feasible or necessary.
Departments shall ensure adequate internal controls are in place to prevent improper or unauthorized use of e-signatures.
