State Unveils Zero-Emission Vehicles and New Charging Stations

WHAT:                      Unveiling of zero-emission vehicles for the state fleet, as well as electric charging stations available for public use.

WHEN/WHERE:     State Parking Garage: 10:30 a.m. December 20, 2012.  at 1517 13th Street, Sacramento, CA. The location is an enclosed parking structure; street parking around the garage is limited.

SUMMARY:             The state will unveil two of the 10 zero-emission vehicles that have replaced vehicles within the state fleet.  The state will also debut vehicle charging stations at state garages that are available for public use.  These steps are in response to Governor Brown’s Executive Order, which directs state agencies to support and facilitate the rapid commercialization of zero-emission vehicles.
