Certification with the Department of General Services

Attend this free event on Thursday, February 12 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. to certify your business with the state of California.  At this workshop you can apply for:

• Small Business (SB) certification
• Small Business for the Purpose of Public Works (SB-PW) certification
• Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) certification

You must bring a personal laptop or tablet with internet accessibility and all required documents, in a digital format.

• Applicant and affiliate federal tax returns for the past three (3) years
• Applicant and Affiliate Quarterly Wage and Withholding Report (DE 9C)
• Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN)
• Social Security Number (SSN), if you are a sole proprietor
• Home address of owners, officers, partners, etc.
• Secretary of State Number (if applicable)
• Contractors State License Board Number (if applicable)
