The Valuation Threshold applicable to Path of Travel requirements for Alterations, Structural Repairs or Additions to existing buildings and facilities in accordance with the 2025 California Building Code has been updated.  The 2026 Valuation Threshold is $209,208.00.  It will be updated again in January 2027.

Projects submitted to DSA after January 19, 2026 shall use this revised Valuation Threshold to determine the applicability of Chapter 11B, Section 11B-202.4 Path of travel requirements in alterations, additions and structural repairs; Exception 8.
