Please join the Division of the State Architect (DSA) in congratulating two of our dedicated staff members as they take on new responsibilities within our organization. Harlan Reymont has accepted the Sacramento Regional Manager position for our Sacramento Regional Office. And, Chris Morton has accepted a temporary Regional Manager position within our Oakland Regional Office that may last up to four months. They will be responsible for managing the daily operations at their respective offices.

Mr. Reymont has worked for DSA as the Supervising Architect in the Sacramento office. Harlan started his architecture career in Utah with an emphasis in primary education. He has been with DSA since 2012 when he was offered the position of Fire and Life Safety officer. During his time as a Supervising Architect Mr. Reymont demonstrated an exceptional leadership and management style for staff and provided excellent service to both school districts and design professionals, with an emphasis on being proactive. We look forward to seeing him apply his proactive approach, and calm reassuring style, to his new role.

Mr. Morton has worked for DSA as a Supervising Structural Engineer in the Oakland office since October 2016. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in reviewing plans and specifications to ensure compliance with current California building codes and regulations for building and facility structures, accessibility and fire and life safety.

Contact information for regional managers as well as all DSA staff can be found on our Contact Us webpage.
