The Division of the State Architect (DSA) is proud to announce our new California Sustainable Schools Showcase of the first quarter.

The goal of the California Sustainable Schools Showcase is to create awareness of strategies that can be implemented in the development of a path to zero net energy, zero carbon, and an overall healthy sustainable school from which other districts can learn.

Through exposure, DSA can share innovative ideas and technologies that enhance and create inviting, sustainable and energy efficient buildings that espouse the ideals of California’s environmental policies in schools.

DSA is pleased to announce our sustainable schools showcase building for the first quarter of 2023 features the Kinesiology, Health Education and Aquatics Complex on the San Bernardino Community College District’s Crafton Hills College campus.

If there is a building or campus that exemplifies innovative sustainability or energy measures and deserves acknowledgement as a showcase, please contact DSA HQ Architectural Codes and Policies Unit at (916) 445-8100.
