- June 9, 2021 - The Division of State Architect (DSA) has completed its rulemaking process to make amendments to the Certified Access Specialist Program (CASp) regulations. The revised regulations were approved by the Office of Administrative Law and will be effective on July 1, 2021. A strikeout-and-underline version of the adopted regulations and the Final Statement of Reasons are available on the CASp Regulation Development webpage.
- May 20, 2021 - The California Commission on Disability Access (CCDA) is proud to announce the Accessibility Construction Inspection Checklist 2020 Edition has been revamped in a fillable digital form. The interactive checklist can be completed, downloaded as a PDF, and is accessible from a smart phone or portable device. This tool is based on the 2019 California Building Code, Part 2, Title 24, California code of regulations and is recommended for use by trained building code professionals and inspectors.
