approved standards from the june 20, 2017 commission meeting

The following code proposals were reviewed and adopted by the California Building Standards Commission at the June 20, 2017 meeting. These approved standards will be included in the 2016 California Building Standards Code (Cal. Code Regs., Title 24), as an Intervening Code Supplement, which is scheduled for publication on or before January 1, 2018. All approved standards have an effective date of July 1, 2018, with the exception of any revisions to the California Administrative Code (Cal. Code Regs., Title 24, Part 1) and any changes without regulatory effect made to Title 24- such provisions are effective 30 days after filing with the Secretary of State.
