Katherine Minnich
Deputy Director of Administration
Katherine Minnich joined the DGS team on May 31, 2021, as the Deputy Director of Administration. Katherine brings a wealth of experience to DGS,
most recently from local government, and has 20 years in California state
service including the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation,
California Correctional Health Care Services, and Covered California, where she
served as the staff and executive level in different roles, primarily in the
area of human resources.
In March 2021, Katherine received the Robert L.
Negri Human Resources Achievement award from CalHR for 2020 and was named the CDCR
2018 Administrator of the Year. Katherine is a native of Sacramento with a
Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Management.
