Newly Leased Office Building in Santa Ana

Summary:

State workers occupying the DGS owned office building in Santa Ana have upgraded to a modern nine-story leased facility due to a team effort from RESD’s Real Estate Leasing and Planning Section, Real Properties Services Section and the Portfolio Management Unit. Eight state departments, with 500 employees, will occupy a total of 141, 577 net square feet of newly refurbished office space. DGS has the option to purchase the 219,000 gross square foot building in the 10th year of the lease.
State departments started a phased occupancy of the building in December 2019 to be completed by April 2019. They include the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, the Department of Public Health, the Department of Health Care Services, the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, the Department of Industrial Relations, the Department of Pesticide Regulation, the Employment Development Department and the Water Resources Control Board.

The building, constructed in 2001 and located at 2 MacArthur Place in Santa Ana, will have the following features:
