The Division of the State Architect's (DSA) 2021 Triennial code proposals for Parts 3, 4, 5 and 11 of the 2022 California Building Standards Code (California Code of Regulations, Title 24) were reviewed and adopted by the California Building Standards Commission (BSC) at the meeting held December 14 and 16, 2021. DSA’s proposals for Parts 1, 2, and 10 of the 2022 Title 24 were reviewed and adopted by the BSC at the meeting held January 18-19, 2022. These approved standards are included in the 2022 Title 24.

All Parts of the 2022 Title 24 have an effective date of Jan. 1, 2023, except for the 2022 California Administrative Code (Cal. Code Regs., Tit. 24, Part 1) which became effective on of March 5, 2022.
