Appointment of New Presiding Administrative Law Judge in Los Angeles and San Diego for Special Education Division

The Office of Administrative Hearings is happy to announce that Administrative Law Judge Tara Canada Doss is the new Presiding Administrative Law Judge.  Judge Doss will be one of two Presiding Administrative Law Judges in the Special Education Division, Los Angeles Office, supervising Administrative Law Judges in Los Angeles and San Diego.  Judge Doss has been Administrative Law Judge with the Special Education Division since January 2017 in the Los Angeles office.  Prior to becoming a judge, Judge Doss spent over 10 years as an education law attorney, representing both students and public agencies.  Judge Doss is a graduate of the University of Michigan, and the University of Southern California, where she obtained her law degree.
