The state has negotiated an exchange with Lake County for approximately 15 acres of surplus county-owned land  in exchange for the former Lakeport Armory.  The subject county property (APN 010-043-01) is located on ±15 acres of land south of 18th Avenue and is bisected by the newly constructed Dam Road Extension (the “Site”). A portion of the site will be developed for affordable housing. The Site is located near pre-existing neighborhoods, the community’s largest shopping center, its hospital and Woodland Community College.
