The California Building Standards Commission (CBSC) strives to provide training materials and ongoing code education opportunities throughout the state. CBSC staff are available to provide training to design professionals and enforcement agencies such as the American Institute of Architects, California Building Officials, the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials and International Code Council regional chapters, among others.

Training can include the application of the California Building Standards Codes (Title 24), the California Green Building Standards Code for nonresidential occupancies (Title 24, Part 11), and the administrative public process required to develop and adopt Title 24.

Groups of 50 or more are preferred, but we understand getting that many attendees together can be a challenge. We suggest that you team together with fellow organizations for in-person training by CBSC staff. If that’s not achievable, we can accommodate smaller groups with a virtual training session via the wonders of the internet! If you’re interested in training regarding Title 24, please email the E&O coordinator at cbsctraining@dgs.ca.gov or use the form below.
