BSC Information Bulletin 20-02 Advises the California Building Standards Code, Title 24, California Code of Regulations (Title 24) regulated community of a printing error that may have a significant impact on special inspection requirements for various project types. The 2018 International Building Code (IBC), Section 1705.5.2 Metal-plate-connected wood trusses, contained erroneous amendments in the first printing of the 2018 IBC that was adopted by California as the base code for the 2019 California Building Code, Part 2 of Title 24, effective January 1, 2020.
