Master Agreements

Master Agreements are contracts that are competitively bid by the DGS and available to any agency that expend public funds.  These type of agreements establish a pre-qualified list of vendors and simplify the purchasing process for the end user, by utilizing fair and reasonable pricing for the function to be provided.

NOTE: State Administrative Manual (SAM), Section 4800 (rev 9/2002) states "Agencies shall use master contracts whenever the functional requirements for which the contract was awarded are substantially the same as the agency's requirements."
