Garfleld Elementary School
With the goal of preparing all students for college and career, the Santa Ana Unified School District (USD) has built a two story state-of-the-art classroom facility where students can learn, explore, and excel in a safe and modern environment.
“Every study that I have read indicates a direct correlation between improved student achievement and facilities that are well-maintained. When Garfield students come to school, they are in well-maintained facilities that are conducive to learning,” said, Joe Dixon, Assistant Superintendent
of Facilities and Governmental Relations.
In Fall 2013, the beautiful 12-classroom building
was commemorated with a ribbon cutting ceremony that featured musical selections from the Garfield School Choir, student-led tours, and remarks from members of the Santa Ana USD Board of Education and other local and state leaders.
